Rev. Barry Beukema was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, in 1957, and has been married to his wonderful wife, Val, for 44 years.  They have been blessed with 7 sons, 2 daughters, and 25 grandchildren.  Barry graduated from Calvin College in 1980 and from Westminster Theological Seminary, Philadelphia, in 1983.  He has served two Christian Reformed congregations (Burdett, Alberta and Smithers, British Columbia) and four United Reformed churches (in Smithers, Thunder Bay, Lacombe, Neerlandia, and now Taber.
